Founded by husband-and-wife team Katie and Ricardo Arias, Area Coffee celebrates single-origin, responsibly sourced beans roasted in their hometown of Kingston, NY. The logo system draws inspiration from a vintage aviation company owned by Ricardo's grandfather in Ecuador.

We refined the original aviation logos into a streamlined, contemporary mark and icon set, anchored by a classic deep red palette. A condensed modern typeface complements the geometric forms of the 'A' icon and echoes the angular details of the primary logo. The result is a cohesive, elegant system that translates seamlessly across product packaging and merchandise.
